Welcome from everyone at Allenton School!
At Allenton School we believe that schools are about and for children. A good school is one that recognises the individual needs of its pupils, the aspirations, educational expectations and values of the parents and community, and acts to meet these in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
At Allenton School we believe that schools are a partnership. A successful school is one that recognises and utilises the individual interests and strengths of its staff. In return, the teachers will show concern for each child, their individual academic, physical and social growth. At Allenton School we believe that a good school is one where the importance of good self concept is paramount, and where there is a happy, open, caring climate in which all children enjoy full participation and develop to their potential. Allenton School has always fostered good relationships with its surrounding community and aims to provide an encouraging and supportive learning environment. Our school recognises and makes use of the talents and resources within our community, and in return enjoys the support of the community. |
Board of Trustees Elections 2022The Allenton School Board elections are approaching and we have 3 vacancies for Parent Representatives. Nominations must be received by Midday on Wednesday 3rd August. A letter and nomination form were emailed out on 13th July and the links to these are included below.
Being a member of the Board is rewarding. Members make a valuable contribution to the school, which is a focal point for the Allenton community. A successful Board has a diverse range of skills and backgrounds. I would encourage Parents in our community to consider this role in making a valuable contribution to our school community. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss. My phone number is 0275 070 580. Hamish Tait Board Chair ![]()
