Talented & Gifted - T.A.G

The majority of pupils have their needs catered for at Allenton School through a differentiated programme within their regular classrooms.

We also have an "Enrichment Programme" for talented and gifted pupils which is referred to as T.A.G.

There are three TAG Programmes in operation at our school.

Junior TAG

Middle TAG

Senior TAG

TAG programmes are subject/domain pull out periods where children work with other like minds and move at a faster rate than would be expected in a regular classroom. These programmes aim to address the specific needs of gifted or talented pupils and are taught by up to two GATE teachers with extra qualifications in this field.
